There has been much speculation about the whereabouts of First Lady Melania Trump, who has not been seen publicly since May 10.
That speculation may soon be over, though, as the First Lady is set to make an appearance at an event for Gold Star families on Monday.
The spokesperson for Mrs. Trump, Stephanie Grisham, confirmed her appearance to CNN Sunday evening.
The event is closed to the press.
Earlier on Sunday, reports surfaced that Mrs. Trump would not be joining President Donald Trump for upcoming summits in Canada and Singapore, prompting renewed concern and questions about her whereabouts, including from CNN who wondered “why we’ve seen so little of the first lady.”
Mrs. Trump was last seen in public just days before she was hospitalized for surgery last month. Since then, she has stayed out of the public eye for 24 days, a move that prompted much buzz on social media and even a hashtag #whereisMelania.
To quell the speculation, Mrs. Trump sent out a tweet on May 30, claiming she was “feeling great” and was back to work behind the scenes at the White House.
Not everyone, though, believed that Mrs. Trump had actually written the tweet herself.
In addition to the Gold Star families event, the White House is set to hold a Ramadan dinner this week.
That event is typically hosted by the President and First Lady, although the White House has not yet confirmed she would attend.
