Mika Brzezinski to U.S. Adversaries: The ‘Moment to Act’ Is Now Because of Trump’s Lack of Leadership

Morning Joe co-host Mike Brzezinski said if there was a time for United States’ adversaries to act, the time would be now because the country looks weak due to President Donald Trump’s leadership.

Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief for The Atlantic, said the only up side of Trump’s eradicate behavior is how America’s enemies do not know how to anticipate the country’s goals.

“If you’re an ally, you don’t trust us. If  you’re an adversary, the only possible positive thing you can say, adversaries right now might look at us and say, we don’t know what the hell they’re going to do because this President is completely unpredictable. Their intelligence agencies are trying to analyze our moves, and can’t understand them. So long term we just look unserious,” Goldberg said.

“We elected someone who does not approach the world in any kind of serious, coherent fashion, with a mind towards America’s values globally,” he added.

“I would take it a step further and worry we look weak, and that this is the moment that anybody with ill will has to act, or to get further than they have been able to get in the past, as it pertains to us on the national stage,” Brzezinski chimed in.

Goldberg also said he thinks anything to do the Robert Mueller’s investigation that pertains to collusion does threaten Trump’s presidency.
