Seth Meyers Rips Trump for ‘Deranged Twitter Bender’ Defending ‘Bigoted’ Jeanine Pirro

Late Night host Seth Meyers slammed President Donald Trump on Monday for going on a “deranged Twitter bender” over the weekend.

“Well, it’s another Monday and that means once again the president of the United States had a quiet and normal weekend full of hard work and sober reflection and everyone slept well and woke up refreshed and optimistic,” Meyers quipped.

He added: “I’m just kidding, his brain is Silly Putty and we’re all doomed.”

Then after listing off a laundry list of Trump’s weekend Twitter grievances, Meyers said this: “Jesus, his tweets would make more sense if they were scribbled on the wall of a psych ward.”

At one point, Meyers turned to Trump’s defense of embattled Fox News host Jeanine Pirro.

Pirro was taken off the air last Saturday after the previous week she made an Islamophobic remark about Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Trump tweeted about it on Sunday.

Turning to Pirro’s remark and her propensity to be a loud talker, Meyers quipped, “The only thing worse than saying something that offensive is saying it that loud.”

He then offered this advice to Pirro: “You know when you say something bigoted, you’re supposed to whisper in private, right?”
