Brian KIlmeade Mocks State Prosecutor’s Claim People Who Are Upset at Smollett Case Don’t Understand the Law

Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade slammed Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx after the charges against Empire actor Jussie Smollett were dropped at their request. Foxx had recused herself from the case because she had conversations with Smollett’s family.

“If people don’t know how the justice system works, and more specifically, alternative prosecution diversion, pre-trial diversion, this would seem like an odd outcome,” she told CBS Chicago. “But it doesn’t surprise me that people and their sense of justice would think that a different outcome would make sense.”

I don’t know what is crazier, the fact that he is not contrite or admits anything now or he dreamed the whole thing up to begin with,” Kilmeade said. “And also they have to get stories straight, he was attacked by two MAGA supporters or he was attacked by two Nigerian trainers who trained him that he wrote a check of $3,500.”

“By the if you don’t understand this it’s all your fault, quote from Foxx, if the public is upset about the outcome of the case, it’s because they don’t understand the law. I’m sorry, I have to watch another episode of Murder, She Wrote and then maybe it will all make sense,” he added.
