Press Sec.: "Nothing has changed" in terms of POTUS releasing tax returns: "The president is under audit. It's a routine one. It continues." pic.twitter.com/gAR1sz5ige

Tomorrow is Tax Day for Americans across the country, though Press Secretary Sean Spicer says that no one should expect President Donald Trump to release his tax returns for 2016.
CNBC’s Eamon Javers asked Spicer if Trump would at least disclose his last year of returns, under the presumption that they are not under audit yet like Trump’s previous years of taxes. Spicer shot this down, saying Trump is under “the same audit that existed, so nothing has changed.”
Javers pressed further by asking if Trump would authorize the IRS to confirm that he remains under audit. Spicer declined to answer the question directly.
Later in the briefing, ABC’s Jon Karl revived the subject by asking Spicer if “it’s time to say, once and for all, that the president is never going to release his tax returns.” Spicer’s response was “We’ll have to get back to you on that.”

Karl subsequently tweeted this out:
So maybe it's not about the audit after all … https://t.co/hNL853cPAz

Yesterday, Trump got on Twitter to blast those participating in marches across the country as they demanded he release that information.
