As ABC News’ Jonathan Karl was reporting on the big week ahead with the James Comey testimony Thursday, he said this morning there’s talk in the White House about President Trump potentially traveling to London this week following the terror attack yesterday.
He told George Stephanopoulos the trip would be “to show solidarity with the people of London against terrorism.”
Karl made it clear the discussion is still in the “infancy stage” so it may or may not take place.
Trump earlier today criticized (and took out of context) remarks made by London Mayor Sadiq Khan:
At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

(Khan was talking about increased police presence.)
And after that, White House social media director Dan Scavino tweeted at the mayor that he should “WAKE UP!!!!”
A spokesperson for the mayor provided this response:
