While President Donald Trump sent out several tweets this morning touching on subjects such as his son’s interview with Sean Hannity and the “Fake Media,” perhaps the one that drew the most attention was his declaration that he doesn’t have much time to watch television.
The W.H. is functioning perfectly, focused on HealthCare, Tax Cuts/Reform & many other things. I have very little time for watching T.V.

This set off an expected wave of snarky reaction on Twitter, especially considering that it appeared that Trump was lashing out in response to a cable news segment and his Twitter timeline is full of retweets of Fox News spots.
During an interview on MSNBC today, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) got in on the action and took some shots at the president. Referencing the tweet, the Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee felt POTUS’s actions seemed to reveal the opposite.
“It seems like he doesn’t have time for anything else given the constant attacks he’s making against people who are TV hosts — some of the most pernicious attacks,” the California lawmaker said.
In recent weeks, Trump has taken to Twitter to unleash personal attacks on MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, leading to widespread outrage. The president’s also continued his long-running feud with CNN, going so far as to tweet a fan video of him beating up the network in recent weeks.
