On CNN Monday night, Robyn Curnow reported the latest details of the Oscar Pistorius murder trial on Piers Morgan‘s show and said that at the end of the day, the case comes down to the judge listening to legal arguments and combing through “the minutiae of the law.” This assessment earned Curnow a stern rebuttal in the next segment, when Alan Dershowitz told Morgan that Curnow was absolutely wrong in her assessment of the case.
Dershowitz wasted no time in getting to what he thought Curnow got wrong in her assessment of the case and how it will ultimately be decided.
“Your previous guest, the one who was the reporter from South Africa, couldn’t have been more incorrect when she said this is gonna come down to the law. A debate about the law and legalisms. The law is relatively clear and the law is relatively undisputed. This is all about the facts. This is all about the forensics.”
Pistorius, the double-amputee Paralympian nicknamed the “Blade Runner,” is currently on trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
