Alec Baldwin Returns as Trump, Claiming to Be Real ‘Tragic Victim’ from Charlottesville

Alec Baldwin made a surprise return as President Trump in this week’s installment of Weekend Update: Summer Edition.

“Trump” walked onto the stage at the Phoenix rally wearing solar eclipse-approved sunglasses, claiming he was the one that predicted the eclipse can blind people.

“People ask me ‘why I’m doing a rally only eight months in?'” he said. “Folks, it’s never too early to campaign for 2020. Mike Pence is already doing it.”

Before giving the crowd “the hits,” he said the “tragic victim” that came out of Charlottesville: “Me.”

“Folks, the media has treated me so unfairly by reporting my entire remarks — even the bad ones,” Trump elaborated. “So I wanted to set the record straight about exactly what I said- so I have the transcript here.”

He then began reading the transcript from the Access Hollywood tape, but stopped himself before finishing the sentence.

“The dishonest media… won’t tell you about my accomplishments, but I’ve done so much!” Trump continued. “Last night, I solved Afghanistan.”

Before wrapping up the rally, he wanted to give The Grim ReaperSteve Bannon” a proper goodbye telling the crowd he’s going back to Breitbart to “fight the good fight against globalists and cucks, like my son-in-law Jared [Kushner].”
