Anderson Cooper could barely contain his sheer bewilderment at Kellyanne Conway scolding Senator Bob Corker for his “irresponsible” Twitter use.
Conway fired back this morning in the volley between Corker and the White House, and Cooper reacted thusly:
“She finds tweets like Senator Bob Corker’s ‘incredibly irresponsible,’ saying world leaders see it. Let’s just let that sink in for a moment. Bob Corker’s tweets are incredibly irresponsible, and she’s concerned that world leaders see it. A tweet, incredibly irresponsible. Let me just remind you she works for the President of the United States, who tweets in the pre-dawn hours and all throughout the day––seemingly whatever pops into his mind, whether those things are true or not. But with a straight face, [Conway] says that Senator Bob Corker is the incredibly irresponsible one. Does she hold the President to the same criticism?”
And he proceeded to bring up a few examples of the President’s tweets that, as he put it, Conway must see as “a good thing”…
