Ann Romney To Appear On Tonight Show With Jay Leno Tuesday

Ann Romney, wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, will appear on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno next Tuesday. She has thus far appeared primarily on local news programs and daytime talk shows. This will be Ann Romney’s first late night television appearance.

Mitt Romney has appeared on Leno’s program in the past and recently said that CBS’ Late Night host David Letterman, who invited President Barack Obama to appear on his program on Tuesday night, probably does not regard him fondly because of his numerous appearances on NBC.

Letterman shot back at Romney last night, saying that he does not “hate” Mitt Romney for appearing on Leno’s program. “Why hate a guy who’s suffered through that,” Letterman asked jokingly.

Ann Romney’s appearance on the Tonight Show will be taped on Tuesday, September 25 and will air that night.
