One of Sean Spicer‘s most high-profile sparring partners in the White House briefing room thinks his newly-expressed remorse over the Inauguration crowd size kerfuffle falls well short.
Appearing on Brooke Baldwin‘s show Monday, CNN contributor April Ryan apparently did not know that Spicer expressed regret over his handling of the incident in a New York Times interview just posted. When told this news, Ryan was incredulous.
“Oh, really?!” Ryan said, with a look of total exasperation on her face.
Ryan, of course, got into a high-profile altercation with Spicer in the White House Briefing Room in which the Press Secretary told Ryan to stop shaking her head. The CNN contributor added that she’s still looking for an apology on that incident, as well as others.
“Brooke, he needs to apologize more for other things too,” Ryan said. “Shaking the head, calling [Politicos] Tara Palmieri an idiot. Yeah, he needs to… yeah.”
