Self-professed “rodeo clown” Glenn Beck continued to voice his support Thursday for the Missouri State Fair rodeo clown-in-an-Obama mask who has managed to dominate the mid–August news cycle. Beck and his co-hosts took aim at MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, who earlier this morning spoke out against Beck, calling him the “highest paid rodeo clown in America.”
Beck’s sidekick Pat Gray began the segment by calling Scarborough the “douchiest douche of all” as Beck sat by quietly. “I kind of find him to be a pathetic character and I think he proved that in spades this morning.” He proceeded to call out Scarborough and that “elitist chick” Mika Brzezinski for their coverage of Beck and the rodeo clown story.
At the sound of Brzezinski saying “Oh my God” in reference to those who have supported the rodeo clown, all three hosts devolved into an extended mockery of her supposed outrage. “This guy’s more pathetic than even Keith Olbermann,” Gray said of Scarborough. “At least Olbermann admits that he’s a lying sack of crap.”
Beck sat smiling as he listened to Scarborough call him the “highest paid rodeo clown in America,” before finally weighing in himself. “It’s sad, it really is sad.”
