Beck Mocks Sharpton over Prompter Reading: Is He a ‘Parrot’ or ‘Moron’?

Al Sharpton has had teleprompter issues before (and has taken some of the mockery in good humor), but Glenn Beck laughed today about another issue he thinks Sharpton has with the prompter.

Whenever a soundbite is played on TV from President Obama or someone else, in order to let the anchor know when it’s their turn to speak again, the last line of the soundbite is included in the prompter so they have that warning. And so Beck suspected that Sharpton might be actually reading the prompter verbatim, because he occasionally has a tendency to repeat the last line of a soundbite, even when Obama says, “They’ve got a problem with me.”

Beck and his co-hosts likened Sharpton to Ron Burgundy and Rick Sanchez before Beck said, “So the options are, are you a parrot or are you a moron?”
