With Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on the verge of winning election, Fox News’ Brit Hume made an observation on how Trump was able to piece together a strong coalition of voters.
Considering that black and Hispanic voters by far supported Hillary Clinton and Democrats, Hume noted that the white electorate acted like minorities this election and voted as a group.
After talking about margin of errors in polls, Hume brought up how whites “stuck together” this time.
“This election might mean the revival of the white vote,” Hume stated. “White voters in this election behaved like a minority group.”
“White college graduates, we expected Trump to do great,” Hume continued. “According to the exit polls, he won them 67 to 28.”
