Betty White Goes Hardcore For Digital Short: “Happy Mother’s Day, Motherf****rs”

You knew it was coming – the Betty White Digital Short.

What began as a heartwarming collaboration of all Saturday Night Live current cast members and returning female all-stars paying tribute to White by singing “Thank You For Being A Friend,” then took a very dark, sadomasochistic turn.

Andy Samberg sat White down to thank her “for all the wonderful memories,” but after the song, she said, “Oh that was just lovely, but I think I prefer my version.” By the time a masked White was screaming into a microphone while bloodying a huge guy dressed in leather with a bat to the face, the cute introduction was all but forgotten.

The chaos that ensued ended with White, removing the mask, hitting the final line out of the park: “Happy Mother’s Day, motherf**kers…”

Was it surprising? Not really. But it’s certainly memorable:
