Bill Maher weighed in on the shootings in Charlotte and Tulsa tonight and said that it’s clear officers in these and others cases are victims of “bad policing.”
He said that cops just need to “do it better” because police don’t “train the way they should.” He said of the officer in the Tulsa shooting, “If you’re that nervous, you should not do this job.”
And in Charlotte, Maher said that whether or not Keith Scott had a gun, “you don’t have to kill every time somebody does something that makes you that nervous!”
He also brought up the fact that when states have open-carry laws, it’s really open-carry “just for white people” (not to mention double standards about angry white people and angry black people).
