Last night Bill Maher went after the Democrats for all of the party infighting following a number of special election losses.
He said the arguments against Nancy Pelosi from Democrats are particularly frustrating, because even Ted Cruz is defending the President who once took nasty shots at his wife and father.
MSNBC’s Charlie Sykes said that Democrats need to find the sweet spot between “hysterical opposition” and “being boring and vanilla,” while Yahoo! News anchor Bianna Golodryga said Democrats should be focusing more on winning at the local level.
Maher offered this take:
“This debate––this fake debate, I think––about should the Democrats move left or right, it’s not about that. It’s about how you fight. They’re basically on the same page about how you fight. Bernie and Hillary, when they were in the Senate, voted together like 93 percent of the time. Not a lot of daylight between the left and the center with the Democrats. It’s how you do it. Have some balls.”
He proceeded to mock the Democratic party with mock posters for them saying things like “Meh” and “Let Us Win One Or We’ll Run Chelsea.”
