Bill Maher: Trump Trying to Scare People About Caravan ‘Like a Racist Paul Revere’

During his monologue last night, Bill Maher mocked President Donald Trump over his comments about the migrant caravan.

Maher first encouraged everyone to get out and vote, saying, “Can we stop pretending that the polls are a good indicator of what people are going to do and how they’re going to vote? Our elections aren’t even a good indicator of people’s votes!”

He moved onto the caravan and said the Republicans are “beating this story like Whitey Bulger in prison.”

“Trump is like a racist Paul Revere,” he said. “‘The migrants are coming! The migrants are coming!'”

He mocked Trump’s talk of an “invasion” and Fox News’ coverage of the caravan “like it’s the zombie apocalypse.”

But what really befuddled him was Trump’s claim that the caravan is bigger than it’s being reported and he knows that because he’s “pretty good at estimating crowd size.”
