Cable news ratings, September 7, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• The top cable news how on Labor Day was Bill O’Reilly‘s 8pmET hour, in total viewers and in the A25-54 demographic. As a whole, FNC had a below-average prime time (which was expected for a holiday), but still easily topped their competitors.

• The top non-FNC program was MSNBC’s doc block at 9pmET in the demo and CNN’s The Situation Room at 5pmET in total viewers.

• The 2nd best cable news show went to a rare duo – FNC’s 7pmET FOX Report came in at #2 in the demo, and the 6pmET program Special Report was #2 in total viewers.
