A husband and wife robbed a man blind last month by distracting him with the woman’s skinny dipping.
In late June, the couple approached a 54-year-old man’s home in Crossville, Tenn., asking to use his backyard pool. The unidentified 30-year-old woman asked her husband to retrieve some cigarettes and then proceeded to swim naked in the pool, distracting the homeowner with her goods.
While the husband was supposed to be retrieving the smokes, he was actually robbing the other man’s home. The couple ended up walking away with $1,195 worth of items, including a handgun, jewelry and medication.
The woman reportedly kept her neighbor distracted for 20 minutes with her nude-swimming antics. “I went and got her a towel, she dried off and all of a sudden she was soaking wet again,” the victim told Nashville’s WKRN-TV. “I escorted her outside and invited her to church, but she said she didn’t have time for that, she wasn’t ready for that.”
After the couple departed, only then did the victim realize he had been robbed. “They cleared me out and I just feel violated,” he told WKRN. The handgun stolen during the robbery was the victim’s from his time serving as a Mississippi deputy.
The couple have reportedly been identified, but have yet to be arrested. So if a neighborhood woman approaches with her husband, asking to use your pool: beware.
