Neighbor Who Gave San Bernardino Shooters Guns Helped Farook 2012 Plot

marquezMore information is coming out about the alleged plot San Bernardino shooting suspect Syed Farook nearly carried out in 2012, and it appears that the neighbor who bought the guns used in the San Bernardino shooting was involved in that plot.

Reports from last night about that 2012 plot noted how Enrique Marquez, a former neighbor of Farook’s, confirmed it, but now CNN is reporting he was directly involved in that plot.

Marquez has reportedly been cooperating with the FBI and relayed that he and Farook had scoped out a target and were going to carry out an attack, but they ended up getting “spooked” out of it due to other terror arrests in the area.

He also reportedly said he had been radicalized years ago along with Farook.

It’s not entirely clear that, despite buying the assault rifles used by Farook and Tashfeen Malik in the San Bernardino shooting, Marquez was aware of their plan ahead of time. He is not yet being considered as a suspect in the shooting.
