UPDATE 1:00 p.m.: A gunman was killed after opening fire at a high school in Troutdale, Oregon, outside of Portland Tuesday morning. According to Multnomah County Sheriff’s Department, one student died as a result of injuries; additional but unconfirmed reports indicate one teacher has been injured as well. Authorities said the situation is stabilized, but cautioned that the investigation was ongoing.

Original Post: A shooting at a high school in Troutdale, Oregon, outside of Portland, is on lockdown over reports of an active shooter. Thus far, no fatalities have been reported. Early reports indicate two victims, though the Sheriff’s Department has not confirmed any victims so far.
Forty police teams and two SWAT teams have responded.
UPDATE 12:18 p.m. ET: Multnomah County Sheriff told local news agencies that the shooter is confirmed deceased and the “situation is stabilized.” No updates yet as to injuries.
