Fox News’ Brit Hume today latched onto an the ever-growing Republican talking point that Rand Paul is running for the wrong party’s nomination, between his strong stance against the NSA and his comments about GOP hawks causing the rise of ISIS.
On Fox News Sunday, Hume told Chris Wallace, “He seems confused about which party he’s running in. These stances, either on surveillance or on who’s responsible for ISIS, they’re not going to sit well with the majority of the Republican population.”
And while there are other Republicans who share what Hume described as “paranoid views,” “that’s not a nominating set.”
