British star Lily Allen isn’t interested in talking to Piers Morgan–either on his new CNN show Piers Morgan Tonight, or on his British show Life Stories–but she’s willing to negotiate. Allen, who went to Twitter to suggest “the terms” of her sitting for an interview, says it would cost “£1 million,” donated to “a charity that helps women overcome the kind of grief that I have had to experience.”
Allen recently revealed she was six months’ pregnant when she miscarried last year.
Morgan, whose new American show debuts Monday, expressed his sympathy over Allen’s loss, but then attempted to negotiate her down a bit–working with UK network ITV to offer a “five figure” donation to a charity of her choice. As the Daily Mail reports today, the back-and-forth all played out in public on Twitter:
Lily posted: ‘Those are my terms. I’ve got no interest in coming on your show, you’ve been asking me for years.’
Piers replied: ‘If you’ve got no interest in coming on my show, why have we been negotiating for the last hour? Or are you just a tease?’
When Allen failed to respond, Morgan fired off one final tweet:
@lilyroseallen You’ll change your mind. They always do. Right, must dash- Clooney awaits
