“It has been a chaotic four weeks — even by these White House standards,” Brooke Baldwin said on CNN Friday, in what is nothing short of a dramatic understatement.
And so Baldwin proceeded to recap all of the major developments of the past months — accompanied by a graphic which listed each item.
It took a while.
Baldwin spent two minutes 32 seconds, to be precise, listing all of the notable White House events of the past month. Among the highlights was as sequence in which she poked fun at the musical chairs among the White House senior staff.
“[F]ires his chief strategist,” Baldwin said. “Fires his chief of staff, hires a new one, hires a new communications director, fires him, hires a new one — his fourth in seven months.”
Approximately one minute into the list, Baldwin — playing as though she’d lost her breath — paused for a sip of water.
“Hold on a second,” Baldwin said. “Sorry. This is long.”
She concluded by mentioning some of the people who’ve condemned him over the past month.
“[G]ets condemnations from Democrats, Republicans, former presidents, world leaders, allies, his own staff, and the Pope
“And still, STILL has no regrets.”
