Caitlyn Jenner Talks with Tucker Carlson About Trump and Why She’s Not a Democrat

For his first show in the 8 pm time slot, Tucker Carlson spoke with Caitlyn Jenner tonight in an interview that touched on everything from President Trump to her personal journey.

Jenner again brought up her disappointment with the president for not doing more to take a stand on LGBT rights.

However, she’s still a conservative Republican, and Carlson asked her why she didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton in the last election since she was clearly more pro-LGBT rights.

Jenner said that she’s not a one-issue voter and thinks it would be much easier to try and push the GOP to be better on LGBT issues than to try and push the Democrats to do things like lower taxes.

Carlson asked Jenner at one point if she thinks it’s possible for people of good faith to be “confused” or “baffled” by trans issues.

Jenner said people need to better understand the difference between sexuality and gender identity. She doesn’t expect most people to get it in her lifetime, but said it’s important to bring these issues to light for the benefit of the next generation.
