During a panel discussion on Fox News’ The Kelly File this evening, host Megyn Kelly wondered what the fallout would be if acting DNC head Donna Brazile were a member of the GOP when she purportedly provided Hillary Clinton with debate questions while she was at CNN.
Fox News contributor Richard Fowler said one of the bigger issues that should be discussed is how Brazile got these questions from the network. He then attempted to pivot the conversation to Donald Trump, stating that he is constantly putting his foot in his mouth, taking the attention away from these controversies.
Kelly interjected, saying that that has been covered at length. She then implied there is a double standard at play, even acknowledging that “this is an old horse.”
“Can you imagine if this were a Republican had been fed a question by Fox News,” Kelly asked fellow panelist Tucker Carlson. “You know, the different reaction we’d be seeing in the media?”
Carlson brought up a recent interview Kelly had with Brazile after the last debate, exclaiming that he thought it should have been on the front page of the New York Times.
Kelly would then address Fowler again, asking him if he thought she could continue to be the acting chairwoman of the DNC.
