Carson on Mizzou: We’re ‘Accepting Infantile Behavior,’ Moving Us Closer to ‘Anarchy’
Ben Carson joined Megyn Kelly tonight to talk about the University of Missouri protests and lamented how colleges are just “accepting infantile behavior.”
He said that people should be having a dialogue on campus instead of demonizing each other, telling Kelly “this is just raw emotion and people being manipulated… by outside forces who wish to create disturbances.”
Kelly got pretty fired up about how at Yale students were upset because someone dared suggest Halloween costumes not be subjected to PC policing by the university. Carson called this a “very dangerous trend” for students to assert that they have the right to “violate your civil rights” because others are offending them.
He said more colleges need to stand up and show “moral courage,” because if they don’t, “it will grow, it will exacerbate the situation, and we will move much further toward anarchy.”
