If you aren’t excited about the final season of AMC’s Breaking Bad next month, get on that. The widely popular cable drama about a chemistry teacher-turned-meth kingpin is winding down with its final eight episodes starting on August 11th, and they’re getting the help of a big name in network news. PBS/CBS anchor Charlie Rose let slip during a discussion with show creator Vince Gilligan that he will be appearing in the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad.
The Huffington Post reported the news from the event at the Museum of the Moving Image, which opened an exhibit about the transformation of main character Walter White last week, when Rose made this surprising bit of news.
Rose let slip that he’ll appear in the penultimate episode of “Breaking Bad.”
Gilligan lightly reprimanded Rose for the “spoiler.” The talk show host later apologized, but only after confirming that “[his] check would still be in the mail.”
Gilligan told HuffPo that Rose may not necessarily be playing himself, so fingers crossed that we see one of the most respected and revered journalists of the modern era smoking crystalmeth.
