Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill, a strong Hillary Clinton supporter, faced off with Chris Wallace over allegations of pay-for-play surrounding the Clinton Foundation and the State Department.
Wallace was going off those emails released last week suggesting concerning links between the foundation and the department when Clinton was Secretary of State.
Wallace said it “raises serious questions” about such a link, but McCaskill said there is no direct evidence showing pay-for-play.
Wallace asked if she has a problem with “big donors to the foundation getting favors from the State Department” or another donor being appointed to an advisory board despite lacking the qualifications to do so.
McCaskill insisted, “No one has been investigated more than Hillary Clinton in the history of presidential politics.” She shifted to going after Donald Trump.
