Christie Tells O’Reilly He Thinks Fox & Friends Host Is in the Tank for Trump

Screen Shot 2016-02-05 at 8.44.47 PMChris Christie said to Bill O’Reilly tonight he thinks Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy is “rooting for” Donald Trump.

Christie appeared on Fox & Friends on Thursday, and he got a lot of Trump-related questions from Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. They wondered whether Christie agrees with Trump about problems with the Iowa caucus results. At one point, Christie got irritated and said to them, “The election is over. And I know you guys would like to have a do-over for Donald Trump.”

O’Reilly brought up that exchange tonight and asked Christie if he really thinks the Fox & Friends gang is in the tank for Trump. Christie observed, “Doocy gets me on their air and asks me four questions on Donald Trump… Why don’t you ask it a third time? We should get off it.”

O’Reilly asked, “Do you think they’re rooting for Trump?” Christie answered, “I think Doocy might be rooting for Trump.”

O’Reilly defended Fox and said there’s no one candidate that most of the people at the network are rooting for––there’s some big names going for Trump or Marco Rubio or even Christie himself.

Doocy has not publicly said he’s supporting Trump, though he has defended him multiple times, even saying he remembers those thousands of Muslims in New Jersey cheering on 9/11 that no one else has credibly backed up.
