Chuck Todd opened today’s MTP Daily talking about President Trump going after the DOJ.
But he also took a swipe or two at Sean Hannity.
Todd said this afternoon that the President “seems intent on publicly undermining the rule of law with an assist from folks like him in conservative media.” (A picture of Hannity appeared on screen at that “him.”)
And in looking at how Trump has been openly talking about how the DOJ should be going after Hillary Clinton, Todd said that Trump is “undermining the rule of law,” but “he’s not the only one doing it.”
Cue the clip of Hannity raising questions about Clinton before slipping up and referring to her as “President Clinton.”
“Struggling so much to concoct that story,” Todd quipped, “he can’t even decide who’s president.”
