Clinton Goes After Trump for Attacks on Women: He Doesn’t See Us as ‘Full Human Beings’
Hillary Clinton spent a fair chunk of her Florida speech this afternoon going on a tear against Donald Trump for his attacks on women and nasty remarks he’s made over the years.
She brought up that now-infamous 2005 video as she talked about Trump “grabbing women, mistreating women.” The crowd booed as Clinton brought up how Trump attacked the looks of some of his accusers.
Clinton also name-dropped Howard Stern (a first?) in talking about how Trump bragged about walking in on contestants while they were undressed.
She also said that Trump defending his words as “locker room talk” is just “shocking” to men everywhere.
But then Clinton really got tough:
“He thinks belittling women makes him a bigger man. And I don’t think there’s a woman anywhere who doesn’t know what that feels like. He doesn’t see us as full human beings with our own dreams, our own purposes, our own capabilities.”
