CNN Hosts Ask Each Other if They Would Ever Say ‘F*ck It’ and Quit
Last night, Alaska reporter Charlo Greene created a viral moment for herself when she quit her job live on air, saying “fuck it” and announcing she was leaving to run a “cannabis club” dedicated to the legalization of marijuana. But no one on CNN would ever do something like that, right?
Don Lemon invited CNN media reporter Brian Stelter on his afternoon news broadcast Monday to discuss the incident, which he called “obviously unprofessional.” But Lemon also said walking into work and yelling “I quit” was something everyone in the television business has “dreamed” about doing.
“You would never do that, would you, Don?” Stelter asked.
“No, because I’m not that kind of person,” Lemon replied. “And why would you burn a bridge like that?”
Later, Lemon asked Stelter the same question. “No, I’m a pretty shy guy,” Stelter told him. “I don’t know about that, Don.”
