CNN’s Don Lemon Savages ‘Terrible’ Obamacare Rollout: Makes Good Case for the GOP

The list of all certainties in life has now been upgraded to death, taxes, and the Obamacare website not working right. CNN’s Don Lemon crystallized people’s frustration Saturday, calling it “terrible” and “embarrassing,” saying this is a good case for the GOP to make against it.

After showing a report on how Republicans are calling for Kathleen Sebelius‘s resignation over the fiasco, Lemon said it’s “embarrassing that they had so much time to figure this out and they haven’t figured it out.” CNNMoney’s Laurie Segall contrasted the Obamacare website rollout with the popular business WordPress, which funded three million dollars over eight years, as opposed to the hundreds of millions of dollars over a smaller period for the Obamacare site.

Lemon said that no matter what outside work may be done, “the blame falls squarely on the Obama administration.” He and Segall agreed this was striking given how supposedly tech-savvy the Obama team is supposed to be.

Segall explained users can get on, the problem comes in at the account creation stage. Lemon sighed and made this observation.

“All they had to do instead of shutting the government down was just let this happen and that would have made their case to them.”
