CNN’s Don Lemon Used to Be a Model and We Have Photos to Prove It

Mediaite readers best know Don Lemon as one of CNN’s more provocative primetime anchors, but did you know he moonlighted as a clothing model? Back before he ever started his journalism career, Lemon did some modeling while studying at Louisiana State University in the late 1980s.

We’ve got the photographs to prove it:

Check out that hi-top fade. This jean and striped shirt combo appeared in a catalog for the now-defunct New Orleans area department store Maison Blanche. Another shot from the same outfit:

These next two are from another now-defunct New Orleans department store called D.H. Holmes.

Lemon confirmed the authenticity of the photographs, telling Mediaite:

“That was a lifetime ago when I had a whole lot more hair and a lot less body weight. I was giving Will Smith a run for his money. Clearly he won on the money part.”
