Colbert’s ‘Real News Tonight’ Mocks Lara Trump’s ‘State-Sponsored Propaganda’

Stephen Colbert last night mocked the “real news” video from President Trump‘s daughter-in-law Lara Trump and said it sure “looks like state-sponsored propaganda.”

Trump talked about all the positive news for her father-in-law’s agenda in the video, slamming the “fake news” and touting jobs numbers.

Colbert took the opportunity to weave the video into his recurring bit “Real News Tonight,” where two news anchors tell the President things he wants to hear.

And they asked “new correspondent” Lara Trump questions like “How are the jobs job’ing?” and “What’s the latest on the President’s generosity?”
