Coulter: Hearing Allegations Against Weinstein, Other ‘Hollywood Types’ Has Been ‘A Lot of Fun’
Never one to be ignored, professional bomb thrower Ann Coulter recently made some bizarre statements regarding sexual abuse allegations lobbed at Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey.
Coulter appeared on Good Morning Britain and was asked about Kevin Spacey and his alleged sexual assault against actor Anthony Rapp when Rapp was just 14 years old.
The author of In Trump We Trust said she hoped the allegations against Spacey were not true, saying “I like him as an actor.”
However, Coulter seemed to turn gleeful when given the opportunity to address the larger issue of sexual harassment and abuse in Hollywood.
“I love all of the allegations coming out against all of these big Hollywood types like Harvey Weinstein,” she said. “That’s been a lot of fun.”
Host Richard Madley tried to steamroll past the comments, but co-host Susanna Reid was having none of it, biding her time until she could respond.
“It’s not a lot of fun for the women, or indeed the men who are making the allegations,” she said.
Coulter has not been shy about her attempts to turn the Weinstein scandal into an indictment against Hollywood and the left. She’s taken to Twitter on many occasions to rail against the disgraced producer and his perceived enablers.
As of this writing, film mogul Harvey Weinstein has been accused of sexually harassing or sexually assaulting over 80 women.
Kevin Spacey has stated that he does not remember the incident with Rapp, but said he is “sorry for the feelings he describes having carried with him all these years.”
