Coulter on 9/11 Gift Shop Controversy: ‘The Holocaust Museum Has a Gift Shop’

The 9/11 Memorial Museum has been caught up in controversy over the inclusion of a museum gift shop that the families of some victims believe is crass and offensive. Ann Coulter told CNN’s Don Lemon Monday night that she doesn’t see much of a problem with it.

When Lemon asked Coulter if she thought it was appropriate, she said, “Yes, absolutely, the Holocaust Museum has a gift shop.” Coulter said that while it’s a museum about a devastating and horrible attack on the country, she admitted she’s not completely comfortable with the idea that in this case, we have “to act like everything had to bend to these survivors.”

Lemon pointed out that it’s all well and good for the two of them to say it, but if they atually had family members who died on 9/11, they might reasonably think very differently.
