‘Count Your Blessings’: Fox News’ Bret Baier Addresses Car Crash in Return to Special Report
“I don’t usually give advice, but I think everyone should count your blessings. My family is tonight.”
Fox News anchor Bret Baier ended tonight’s Special Report by informing viewers of how he and his family are doing after a car crash yesterday.
Baier explained in some detail what happened as he was driving his family to the airport in Montana, and he thanked Zach, the man who pulled over to help them out, as well as Montana highway patrol and EMS personnel.
“We escaped with minor injuries,” he said. “A concussion, 14 stitches on a chin, a jostled tooth, and a sprained ankle. We are very blessed.”
Baier shared this tweet he posted yesterday:
Don’t take anything for granted – every day is a blessing – and family is everything. It’s always good to remind yourself of that – before something does it for you. #countyourblessings

He concluded by saying, “I had to be here today to show you I was okay.”
