Cruz Campaign Manager Gets Home Plate Seats, Holds Up Cruz Sign During Astros Game
Ted Cruz campaign manager Jeff Roe did some amusing guerrilla marketing for his boss Sunday night, sitting behind home plate of the Boston Red Sox at Houston Astros game and holding up a pro-Cruz sign.
Politico’s Shane Goldmacher first tweeted out video showing Roe with the sign, sitting next to fellow Cruz staffer David Polyansky. At some points in the game, Roe left his seat and Polyansky held the sign instead.

The game was held in Houston, the same city as the Cruz campaign headquarters and smack dap in the middle of Cruz country. The Astros ended up losing in extra innings after a dramatic 9th inning scoring run to tie the game, but Goldmacher reports that Roe left the game too early to see it.
