Daily Show Correspondent Solves Police Brutality Problem by Dressing Up as a Dog
The Daily Show is apparently still working through its Austin material as correspondent Jordan Klepper demonstrated last night when he presented a look at the Austin Police Department’s new sensitivity training problem, which aims to teach cops not to shoot dogs.
After some brief confusion over an officer’s use of the word “animal,” Klepper discovered that because citizens on that city actually get more upset when cops shoot pets than when they shoot people, that’s where the resources are going. “How could humans care more about dogs than other human beings?” he asked, before stumbling upon a particularly cute chihuahua.
“If only there was a quicker way to make people are sympathetic and huggable as dogs…” Klepper wondered, before landing on the perfect solution.
