David Webb Calls Out Media For Ignoring Bernie Sanders ‘Trump is Racist’ Comment…First Reported by CNN

Fox News contributor (and Fox Nation host) David Webb appeared Tuesday morning on Fox & Friends and was asked to address recent remarks made by Senator Bernie Sanders during a Martin Luter King Day Town Hall event in Columbia, South Carolina.

Sanders noted that it gave him no pleasure to say “that we now have a president of the United States who is a racist,” which was aired by Fox & Friends producers with other damning comment made by Rep. Hakeem Jeffries who called President Donald Trump the “Grand Wizard of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade was aghast at this language and asked Webb ” When is it okay for Senator Sanders to call a sitting president a racist? Why is there no more outrage about this?”

Webb’s hackneyed response was that these comments aren’t included on other outlets saying that the lack of outrage is due to “the media that is going to make the outrage about it won’t do it,” adding “You won’t see it on the other networks, on cable networks, on the nightly news.”

Webb is apparently unaware, however, that Sander’s comments were first reported by CNN’s John King just moments after they were stated. According to transcript database TVEyes, CNN also covered Jeffries in three separate packages just Tuesday morning.

Webb is conservative radio talk show host who made headlines last week when his guest Areva Martin called out the host’s “white privilege” unaware that he is a black man. Martin explained that she was misinformed by her staff.

Webb often appears on Fox News opinion programs to provide his right-of-center analysis, but in this instance, he appears to also be misinformed.
