NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio, Al Roker Bury the Hatchet Over NYC Snow Response

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and the Today Show’s Al Roker settled a little Twitter feud between themselves Monday morning over de Blasio’s recent weather response.

Roker acknowledged his critical tweets, which he sent from Sochi last week, but moved past them. “We both want what’s best for the schoolkids,” he said.

De Blasio agreed, and offered Roker an honorary job with the New York Department of Sanitation. “My dad was a busdriver, and he used to drive a snow-clearing bus, so I’d love to do it,” Roker said, donning his new cap.

“They’ve had everything to deal with this winter, but they’ve done an amazing job,” de Blasio said.
