Democratic Rep on Trump’s Insults: To Call It Juvenile Would Be ‘Insult to Actual Juveniles’

Congresswoman Kathleen Rice said on CNN earlier tonight that the insults lobbed by President Trump go beyond simply “juvenile.”

Wolf Blitzer asked the New York Democrat earlier tonight if she’s concerned about whether Trump’s tweets slamming the judge who temporarily blocked his travel ban show a “disregard” for the judicial system.

Rice said she’s more alarmed by the pattern of the president engaging in name-calling in response to anyone he doesn’t like:

“It’s juvenile. It’s actually an insult to actual juveniles to say that it’s juvenile. I mean, I don’t know what category to put this in. It’s a disturbing trend that we see from this president… I’m not saying he shouldn’t tweet if he wants to, but there’s a certain amount of decorum that we expect from our president.”
