Wolf Blitzer confronted Hillary Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon earlier tonight over the FBI’s scathing indictment (though minus an actual indictment) of her personal email use.
Blitzer brought up all the discrepancies in what Clinton said versus what James Comey said, but Fallon insisted that there are reasonable explanations for said discrepancies.
He said that Clinton did the best she could in turning over work-related emails and there was one server at the time, but multiple since then.
Blitzer asked if, as Comey said, Clinton’s lawyers lacked security clearance to look at some of her emails. Fallon insisted they did and said, “I’m not sure what the director meant there.”
At one point, Blitzer asked Fallon point-blank, “Did she lie to Congress?”
