Dinesh D’Souza Explains to Fox & Friends Why President Trump Is NOT Like Hitler
Guys. President Donald Trump is NOT like Hitler, and Dinesh D’Souza is ON IT.
In light of the violent and deadly civil unrest in Charlottesville this past weekend (and President Trump’s curious comments that “many sides” are to blame) the United States has been engaged in a bit of soul searching . Race relations, First Amendment rights on hate speech, and Trump’s leadership…on the issue of Nazism are topics on the minds of many after this tough weekend of news.
In light of all this, best-selling author, filmmaker, and convicted felon Mr. D’Souza appeared on Fox & Friends this morning to let viewers know exactly how President Trump is different than Hitler. Turns out there are some significant differences.
D’Souza set first set the tone, saying “Remember, the vast majority of legal immigrants to America today are nonwhite,” D’Souza opined, adding “They come from Asia, they come from Africa, from South America. Trump has never said, not even implied that he wants to see legal immigration be more white.” Got it.
He then went on to say that “Hitler wasn’t even talking about immigrants,” clarifying that “the Jews in Germany were German citizens. And so for Hitler the distinction was inside of Germany between what he considered to be the superior nor kicks and inferior Jews.” According to D’Souza, when it comes to this racial point, “there is no analogy between Trump and Hitler” at all.
So in summation, according to Mr. D’Souza, there are some important distinctions worth noting in the comparison between Trump and Hitler.
