Doug Jones Supporter Tells Fox & Friends: Roy Moore Not Fit to be on ‘Episode of Chapo Trap House’
Fox & Friends’s Pete Hegseth is often dispatched to diners across the country to talk to “real Americans,” and the live interviews can sometimes yield amazing results.
Well, Hegseth was in Mobile, Alabama on Tuesday — hours before the much anticipated Senate election between Democrat Doug Jones and Republican-cum-accused-child-predator Roy Moore — and interviewed a young lefty and Jones supporter.
After speaking with one very sober and measured Jones voter, Hegseth turned to this story’s hero, a young man by the name of “Webb.”
“If I wasn’t a far left, card-carrying member of the Democratic Socialists of America, I wouldn’t vote for Roy Moore,” Webb told Hegseth.
“Roy is a pedophile, and I don’t think he’s fit to be on an episode of Chapo Trap House, let alone the U.S. Senate.”
“You’re not mincing words,” Hegseth replied.
“Not at all,” our hero confirmed.
Chapo Trap House, of course, is the political podcast of the “Dirtbag Left,” and its hosts’ vulgar irreverence and impassioned leftism has garnered a massive following — their podcast pulls in nearly $90k per month on crowd-funding platform Patreon.
Polls in Alabama open at 7 a.m. CT, and don’t close until 7 p.m., so brace yourselves for a FULL day of cable news punditry.
The contest between Jones and Moore should have been a straightforward blowout for the Republican in the ruby-red state of Alabama, until the race was upended after a number of women accused Moore of preying on them when they were in their teens. Moore’s poll numbers dipped for a while, until President Donald Trump endorsed him despite the allegations. Now, it’s anyone’s race.
