Dinesh D’Souza joined Megyn Kelly tonight to talk about the chaos on the U.S.-Mexican border, and D’Souza explained why he thinks President Obama wants the crisis that’s unfolding right now; he can use it to exploit the American people’s emotions to force his agenda through Congress. He said there has to be a reason that immigrants are showing up now, of all times, and he charged it’s because the White House has been “signaling that it’s not serious about enforcing the immigration laws.”
He claimed that Obama is taking his cues from Saul Alinsky, not letting a good crisis go to waste by exploiting it for political ends. He said that by allowing scores of immigrants to end up in horrible conditions at America’s border, Obama is now “preying on the goodness of the American people’ to draw an emotional response from the public.
And so, he said, Obama can “force the hand” of the GOP and push immigration reform through.
